Enhanced Reliability
Operator-Friendly Steps
The CP215 gives easy access to the operator seat with the operator-friendly steps and large handrails. Downward visibility on the left side is excellent, facilitating compaction near the shoulder of a road.
Excellent Visibility per the European Visibility Standard "1 x 1 m"
The CP215 gives excellent visibility. The operator in the seat can see a 1-m high object located 1 m away from the front or rear of the machine for safe operation.

Three-Line Braking System
The braking system consists of three independent braking lines to enhance safety. Even if one braking line fails, the others still keep operating.
Main brake: Full-hydraulic, wet-type sealed disc brake
Auxiliary brake: HST brake
Parking brake: Spring-set/hydraulic-released brake.
Applied automatically when the engine stops. With the parking brake switch ON, travel is disabled even when depressing the acceleration pedal.

Safe Starting
The engine may start only when the electric parking brake switch is ON, and the F/N/R lever is in neutral (N position).
Travel Locking
Travel is disabled unless the electric parking brake switch is turned OFF.

Easy-to-Read Monitor
The monitor is ergonomically designed for easy reading, and always indicates operating conditions of the machine. The maintenance alert light and work stop alert light warn the operator of maintenance schedule and malfunction for easy troubleshooting and solutions.
Folding Canopy
The canopy can be folded to the left of the operator seat for convenience of transportation.

Roomy Cab with Excellent Visibility
The low-profiled cab (2 780 mm high) provides excellent visibility. The front glass window extends downward to the floor, and the round engine hood increases downward visibility. An air conditioner and defroster come standard for operator comfort.
