Extended Warranty - HELP
All new Hitachi equipment has our comprehensive manufacturer's STANDARD warranty. However Hitachi does provide an extended warranty program called “HELP” to meet the demand of equipment owners. “HELP” stands for “Hitachi Extended Life Program”, total warranty package available to owners of Hitachi equipments and is in conformity to STANDARD warranty.
The coverage ranges from 12 months to 60 months with total hours coverage ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 hours and depends of the models and classes of the machines.
There are two types of HELP warranty available, FULL COVERAGE WARRANTY and POWER TRAIN WARRANTY. Equipment owners can choose either one of the HELP warranty available or any combination of the HELP warranty.
HELP warranty is only available for new machine within 180 days of delivery.

When you sign up for the HELP program, you will get the following benefits and services:
Full Coverage Warranty
This program extends the standard warranty term. Components covered are the same as the standard warranty. The duration of FULL COVERAGE WARRANTY includes that of STANDARD WARRANTY.
Power Train Warranty
Duration of POWER TRAIN WARRANTY is set as an additional period to STANDARD warranty or POWER TRAIN WARRANTY.
This program extends the warranty term for the following components:
- Hydraulic cylinders (breakage only, excludes scoring & oil leakage)
- Main pumps
- Swing bearing
- Travel motors
- Swing motors
- Pump transmissions
- Swing devices
- Travel devices
- Main control valves (breakage only, exclude scoring & oil leakage)
- Center joints (breakage only, exclude scoring & oil leakage)
In case of large size excavators (50 tons and above in weight), POWER TRAIN covers the structure listed below in addition to the hydraulic components listed above:
- Main frame
- Track and Side Frame (excluding sprockets, front idlers, lower rollers, upper rollers, shoes and track links)
- Boom
- Arm
For engine parts excluding CUMMINS products, POWER TRAIN covers the parts listed below:
- Cylinder block
- Cylinder head
- Camshaft
- Rocker arm
- Crankshaft
- Connecting rods
- Timing gears and timing gear case
Note: Warranty conditions vary according to equipment.
